USING THE PENDULUM TEST TO IDENTIFY HIP PATHOLOGY

Patients with hip pathology may not complain of hip pain - they may present with discomfort of the low back, lower extremity, groin, thigh, buttock, or knee, all of which may be caused by the hip. The authors have found the pendulum test to be efficient and accurate in diagnosing even early-stage hip pathology in these patients.
